Aberystwyth Mountaineering Club

An active, exciting and friendly club dedicated to all kinds of mountaineering, ranging from gnarly boulder problems to intense sport and trad climbing! 

The Club trains in the University Sports Centre weekly and go on loads of exciting trips to some of the best climbing locations in Wales and the UK. They also have an annual trip to Alicante, Spain where you get the chance to hone your sport climbing skills! 

All abilities welcome – the Club runs lots of climbing courses (instructed by Antur UK) for all levels of climbing, so whether you’re new to the sport or can climb 8As, everyone is welcome! 

AMC are dedicated to the inclusion and acceptance of all members regardless of age, race, ethnicity, ability, culture or nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status and marital status.
