St Sidwell’s Community Centre has a wonderful and varied garden, right in the middle of Exeter. The garden is maintained by a team of volunteers, and include our sunken vegetable garden. All the fruit and veg grown is used in our cafe. We use organic and nature friendly techniques in the garden, promoting wildlife and creating a space that can be enjoyed by all in the heart of Exeter.
Gardening sessions are led by the centre’s Garden Manager and will include a range of tasks like seed sowing, weeding, planting, mowing, watering and more. Sessions are open to everyone interested in gardening, and tools, gloves, guidance and refreshments will be provided.
Sessions have limited numbers and fill up quickly so if you are interested in joining please contact St Sidwell’s Community Centre to book a place.
