Hinckley Mountaineering Club

HMC is an active and friendly club, with members of all ages and abilities who love of the mountains and the great outdoors.

Group members are mainly from the Leicester, Nuneaton and Lutterworth triangle, although increasingly members have been joining from further afield. The group offers a warm welcome to anyone who wants to share in their enthusiasm for climbing, walking and associated activities.

Group activities include:

• Both fixed and ad hoc events in nearby areas every month and regularly throughout the year
• Weekend or longer trips to favourite destinations such as the Lake District, Wales, Scotland and the Alps to name but a few.
• Social events including weekly club night meet ups at The New Plough, Hinckley (except last Thursday of the month)
